A Morning of Yoga & Wellness at Stone Rock Lodges Sauna, Chepstow

Some photoshoots leave you feeling inspired long after you’ve packed your camera away, and this was definitely one of them.

I recently spent the morning with Bella, photographing one of her beautiful yoga classes at Stone Rock Lodges Sauna in Chepstow. Nestled amongst nature, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The peaceful surroundings, the warmth of the sauna and the slower pace of the morning created such a calming atmosphere from the moment I arrived.

As everyone settled onto their mats, it was lovely to watch the class naturally unfold. There was no pressure, no performance – just people taking time out of their busy lives to move their bodies, breathe deeply and enjoy a moment of stillness. It was such a privilege to quietly document those moments as they happened.

One of the things I love most about photographing businesses is capturing the feeling of an experience rather than simply what it looks like. Whether it’s the focus during a yoga flow, the laughter between friends or the peaceful moments of reflection afterwards, those genuine moments tell the real story.

Bella has created such a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can feel comfortable, whatever their level of experience. You can see the trust her clients have in her, and that really shines through in the photographs.

The beautiful setting at Stone Rock Lodges made the perfect backdrop. Between the natural surroundings, the cosy sauna and the soft morning light, every corner felt peaceful and inviting. It was the kind of place that encourages you to switch off from everyday life and simply be present.
