Some jobs feel special the moment you walk through the door. Photographing the opening night of All About Eve Bridal’s new boutique in Cardiff was one of those moments – not just because the space is breathtaking, but because for me, it felt like a full-circle chapter closing and reopening at the same time.

A Full-Circle Moment

Around ten years ago, I stood on the other side of the experience, working for All About Eve selling wedding dresses. I watched brides fall in love with gowns, shared happy tears in fitting rooms, and learned so much about the wedding industry that still shapes how I work today. To return all these years later as a Cardiff Wedding photographer, camera in hand, documenting the next chapter of their journey, honestly felt surreal.

There was something incredibly grounding about being back with the All About Eve team – familiar faces, the same warmth, and that unmistakable passion for helping brides feel their absolute best.

The New Boutique: Three Floors of Bridal Heaven

The new All About Eve Bridal boutique, nestled beautifully in Wyndham Arcade, is everything a modern bride could dream of.

The space itself is stunning – modern yet romantic, elegant without feeling intimidating. Sparkling chandeliers hang overhead, casting the softest light across the boutique, while the interiors feel calm, luxurious, and thoughtfully designed.

Spread across three stories, the store is a true bridal haven. Each floor flows effortlessly into the next, revealing an incredible selection of gowns and spaces that feel both grand and intimate at the same time.

Private, Luxurious & Designed for Brides

One of the standout features of the new boutique is the huge private dressing rooms. These aren’t just fitting rooms – they’re spaces where brides can truly relax, take their time, and soak up the experience with their closest people around them.

As a photographer, I loved capturing these details – the mirrors, the textures, the way the light falls – because they’re the little things that make a bridal appointment unforgettable.

Capturing the Opening Night

The opening night itself was filled with excitement, laughter, and that lovely buzz that comes with something new beginning. Guests explored the space, admired the dresses, and celebrated the launch of a boutique that feels like a real love letter to modern brides.

I focused on documenting the atmosphere as it unfolded naturally – candid moments, genuine smiles, and the quiet pride of a team who have poured their hearts into creating something truly special.
